How did you start renting out dumpsters?
Our company Indianapolis Dumpster Rental Center initially started as a third party cleaning service for upscale restaurants, hotels, schools and other businesses. As the operation progressed, we noticed that there was a lack of roll-off dumpsters for rent despite good demand for it. We often find ourselves throwing out the trash and dumping them into overfilled dumpsters. Soon thereafter, we invested in dumpster rentals to meet our customers’ needs. After a few years, we started purchasing more dumpsters for us to rent out to homeowners, establishments and offices in Illinois in need of waste removal services.
How does renting a dumpster work?
Renting a dumpster unit can sometimes be confusing. But with the right company, your application should move smoothly. You just need to contact the company and request for their service. They will then introduce their services, with the size and the type of dumpster you might need depending how much waste there is to take care of.
When will the dumpster get picked up?
This depends on the agreement between you and the company. Since waste management, length of service, and waste collection schedule is going to be discussed beforehand, the dumpster will be picked up (with or without trash inside) at the agreed address, on the agreed date and time.

Is It Possible That A Dumpster Could Damage My Driveway?
You can protect your driveway by laying plywood down so that the container can be placed on top of it. During the hot summer months, the weight of the container or the truck can leave indentations in asphalt driveways, which can lead to cracks. The best approach to protect your driveway from damage is to lay plywood over it.
What Is The Durability Of The Dumpster?
Depending on the dumpster company, this may or may not be the case. Depending on the company, they can be rented for as little as 5 days or as long as 30 days. The maximum rental period is 15 days.
Does The Delivery Or Removal Require My Presence, But What Should I Do To Prepare For A Container?
It’s up to you whether or not you want to be present for the delivery and removal. Tips to keep in mind if you don’t want to be there:
1. Ensure that the delivery and removal area is clear of all vehicles and other objects.
2. Check to see whether there are any cables or overhead impediments in the delivery area.
3. If the container needs to be set down on plywood, make sure the delivery area has been indicated and plywood has been laid out on the driveway for driver’s convenience.
What Is The Limit For What I Can Put In The Dumpster?
Materials should not be placed above or protruding past the load level label found on all containers.

How much does a dumpster rental cost?
The cost of renting a dumpster from us depends on the type of service you want, where you live, and a number of other things, such as:
- Size
- Types of junk
- How much stuff weighs
- Location
- How long you can rent something
How do you pay for an ongoing dumpster service?
Bills for commercial front-load dumpsters are sent out once a month. You’ll get a bill every month, and the date listed is when your credit card payment will be processed.
Do I need a licence?
Most cities require a permit if you want to put the bin on the street. Go to your city’s Public Works website to get a permit. If the bin is on your own land, you do not need a permit. But we need your signature in person or by fax to let you off the hook for any damage to property. Be aware that a 2 tonne bin that is empty and an 8 tonne bin that is full can easily crack your driveway. Plywood may help avoid damage. Our drivers won’t put a bin down where it could hurt someone or damage something.
What If The Dumpster Causes Damage?
Getting a dumpster is at your own risk. Please understand the dumpsters and trucks are very heavy, so it is possible it could cause damage to where you are putting it. We put wood under the can when placed on the driveway. This almost always protects the driveway, but we do not take responsibility for any damage.
What If It Rains?
All of the excess water will be drained out when the dumpster is picked up and put on the truck. Yes, it could affect the weight if there are things that soak up water. There is nothing we can do about this. We too get charged for that water weight. If you are very worried about it, we suggest you put a tarp tightly over it to keep water out.
Can we get a referral just to make sure we’re hiring the right company?
Absolutely! Feel free to contact us at 843-628-4573 and ask for referrals. We will be delighted to provide you the contact numbers of our past and current customers.
What exactly is included in a yard cleanup service?
Yard cleaning and maintenance doesn’t just consist of raking leaves but also getting rid of bugs, fungus, and disease that may have gathered. A professional lawn technician can provide the following cleanup services:
- Overgrown yard cleanup
- Yard waste removal
- Abandoned home cleanup
- Yard debris removal
- Leaf removal
- Hedge trimming
- Weed control
- Green waste disposal
Can I keep the dumpster I rented from you longer? Can I also have it removed sooner?
Please note that all changes to the order must occur at least 2 business days prior to the change date. This will allow us to process all the paperwork and the terms and conditions applying. As our drivers and personnel follow a strict schedule, a last minute change to the agreement, though possible, will still be difficult to arrange, but doable.
However, if we determine that we can accommodate your requests, we can simply request for additional charges for your accommodation and we will be glad to allow you to keep the dumpster longer or have it removed sooner.
Is it necessary for me to be there for the delivery and pick up of the dumpster?
It is not necessary to have someone onsite for the removal of the container. However, it would be most helpful for us if you are at the location during the first time delivery. This way our driver can get specific instructions on where to place the dumpster. But if it would not be possible for you to be on site at that time, we would appreciate it if you leave your phone line open so that our driver can contact you to ask about the delivery details.
Please be specific in answering the questions as our staff and crew will use their best judgement for placing the container in the safest yet accessible area. Please know that you will be responsible for the charges involved in relocating the dumpster should it be necessary.
As for the pickup, you may simply leave detailed instructions and provide an unobstructed access to the unit on the scheduled pickup date. If it is impossible to pick up the dumpster due to inaccessibility, additional charges may apply.
What do I get aside from the dumpster?
The rental of a dumpster includes a one-time pickup and delivery date. Standard disposal and fuel fees, along with state taxes are already included in the price. You may request an itemised price list so that you can select the necessary service you need. If there are specific services that you require and are not on our list, please feel free to contact us and we can set up an arrangement for you.
Can I move the smaller dumpster on the street?
Smaller dumpsters do not require trucks for you to move them. Even though they are not as massive as the other rental units, there are still specific laws in Charleston county regarding waste management. Please check with your local municipality if situating a dumpster on the street is allowed.
When Can You Expect The Delivery Of The Dumpster?
We always deliver our dumpsters on time. After you booked your order, you are going to expect the delivery a day after your agreement was made. You need to give us complete information on where and what time you want the dumpster to be delivered to you.
One thing that you also need to do is to figure out if a permit is necessary for the place you want to place the dumpster at.
Do You Need To Sign A Waiver?
Our drivers are well-trained to distinguish the limitations of their truck. With many years of experience, they already know what can happen when requested to place containers in specific areas. There may be situations when you are going to be asked to sign a waiver for damage or consider alternative placement options.
What Does the Price Include?
At Indianapolis Dumpster Rental Center, we are driven to have 100% pricing transparency and customer satisfaction.
Whenever you give us a call, we are going to provide you with a competitive quote that comprises delivery, pickup, a considerate rental time frame and disposal of materials up to the indicated weight allowance for the size of the dumpster that you pick. You do not need to worry about hidden delivery charges or fuel fees when renting a dumpster with Indianapolis Dumpster Rental Center.
How high can I load the dumpster?
Each dumpster has the load level marked. Do not exceed the sides of the dumpster. Overloading the dumpster creates a safety hazard on the road.
How long can I keep my dumpster?
Each dumpster comes with a generous rental period. If you’d like to extend your rental period a fee may be assessed for additional days.
What is the best way to load my dumpster?
It’s best to load a dumpster as evenly as possible. This will allow you to fit more debris inside and help to ensure you don’t overload the dumpster. It’s also important to make sure that no items hang over the side or stick up over the top of the container, since this can make it dangerous for the hauler to pick up the dumpster. Please note that you may be charged an additional fee if your container is overfilled.
